The Voyage is
how you get a TrueKnee.

Three phases, deciding, preparing and recovering, each with one score, one next step, and a record that travels with you to your surgeon’s office. Start before you have a surgeon or a surgery date.

See what is included

One path. Three phases. One record.

Getting a knee resurfaced is a year of decisions and arrangements, most of them made between appointments. The Voyage puts that year in one place and gives each phase one question, one score and one next step.

Deciding

Is a TrueKnee right for me, and who should do it? Your Fit Score weighs your symptoms, daily life, imaging and goals, then turns into a report for a TrueKnee surgeon and the questions to bring.

Explore Deciding

Preparing

How do I get ready? Your Readiness Score tracks eight parts of preparation, from medications and testing to help at home, and ends at Ready for Surgery only when your surgical team confirms it.

Explore Preparing

Recovering

How is it going? Daily check-ins on pain, movement and the incision become your Recovery Score, with a safety pathway that takes over the moment a check-in reports a warning sign.

Explore Recovering

Built for one operation, around you.

One operation, not every joint

The Voyage is built for a TrueKnee: a knee resurfaced to your own anatomy. Know Your Tilt, the Fit Score, the preparation and the recovery check-ins all speak about the knee, and about this technique.

Tell us once

What you share carries forward, with your permission, to your Guide and your surgeon’s office. Participating offices follow the no-clipboard standard: you are welcomed straight to a room, and nothing is asked twice.

Read the service standard

A score is not a verdict

Every score says what your evidence supports and names what is missing. The methodology is published, the sources are cited, and your surgeon decides from an examination, not from a number.

How the Fit Score works

Your practice, your Guide

Personal support, when a practice offers it, comes from that practice’s own team working to TrueKnee’s standard. Clinical decisions stay with your surgeon. Services, people and price are confirmed before anything is paid.

The service promise

Education you can check

Every article in the library carries numbered sources and the date they were last checked, and every page says the same thing: your surgeon decides.

What Voyage is, and is not

Your record stays yours

You choose which surgeon sees your record and when. Research is voluntary and separate from your care. Declining or cancelling optional support never closes your account or your access to what you saved.

Choose support after you know your next step.

Once you connect with a practice and discuss your care pathway, you can explore its optional personal-support program. A named Guide, practical coordination and scheduled check-ins may be included when that practice offers them.

Before any payment, your practice must confirm the exact services, responsible team, availability, start and end dates, price and refund policy. Services already included in your usual care should be identified separately.

Paid enrollment is not open yet. Starting a Voyage, completing a Fit Score or choosing a surgeon never creates a charge.

Your Guide: A cleaner way through

Dealing with paperwork, scheduling, voicemails, and questions can be daunting. Our mission is to take that burden so you can focus on getting back to your True Life.

Tell us once.

TrueKnee is your main connection to your Guide, your surgeon and your surgeon’s office. Information you share through TrueKnee carries forward, with your permission, so you do not fill out the same paperwork twice.

Before you arrive

Your Guide coordinates your records, questions, goals and office requirements, then confirms the office has received and reviewed them. You only need to clarify missing details or confirm what has changed.

Straight to your room

When you arrive for your TrueKnee office visit, you are welcomed and brought immediately to a patient room. No clipboard. No waiting-room paperwork.

The details, in private

Any remaining questions, signatures, insurance details or payments are handled personally with you in the patient room.

How your Guide and surgeon’s office deliver this
  • One coordinated handoff. The Guide gathers information already supplied through TrueKnee, shares it through the approved process with your permission, and follows through on missing items. You are not the messenger between offices.
  • Ready before the visit. A named office contact confirms receipt and review, resolves requirements with the Guide in advance, alerts the arrival team and arranges a patient room.
  • No repeat intake. The office uses the information already provided. Necessary updates, confirmations and signatures are completed with you in the room, without a clipboard.
  • Follow through. The Guide confirms the arrival plan before each visit. If the standard is missed, the Guide and office contact resolve the problem together.

This is a required service standard for participating TrueKnee offices. Your Guide confirms the office connection and arrangements before support begins.

01

Deciding

  • Prepare a report from your Fit Score and available X-rays.
  • Gather your questions and goals for the surgeon.
  • Arrange your first appointment and confirm the office has reviewed your information before you arrive.
  • Help coordinate surgery scheduling once you and your surgeon decide to proceed.
02

Preparing

  • Guide you through your educational tools.
  • Help you complete your Readiness Test.
  • Coordinate pre-operative appointments, testing and office requirements without repeating information you have already provided.
  • Follow up on missing information and confirm the office has what it needs.
03

Recovering

  • Arrange your first follow-up and coordinate a direct-to-room welcome with your office.
  • Help get your concerns and goals to the office before the visit.
  • Keep your scheduled recovery questionnaires on track.
  • Help make your reported progress available for follow-up discussions.

These are the responsibilities your Guide helps coordinate with you and your practice. Guide support is being introduced; your assigned person, availability and office connection are confirmed before support begins.

Recovery questionnaires are patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs): your account of how you feel and function over time. Clinical concerns should go to your care team promptly, without waiting for a visit or questionnaire.

Part of
something greater.

TrueKnee brings patients and surgeons together around a shared purpose: learning from each experience to improve the next.

The goal is to put meaningful data back in the hands of the people who choose TrueKnee—helping patients understand their voyage and helping surgeons evaluate and refine the technique and the patient experience over time.

01 / THE PATIENT’S EXPERIENCE

What recovery feels like.

Your comfort, movement and return to everyday life tell a story that only you can share. When you choose to contribute to approved research, that experience can help others understand what matters most to patients.

02 / THE SURGEON’S PERSPECTIVE

How care connects to recovery.

Participating surgeons contribute the clinical context: surgical details, follow-up findings and outcomes. Together with patient experiences, this can help reveal patterns and questions worth studying.

03 / TRUEKNEE’S SHARED LEARNING

A contribution to the next patient.

TrueKnee’s planned research program is designed to bring those findings back to patients and surgeons—informing preparation, improving the experience and studying ways to refine the technique for those who follow.

Your choice, always. Contributing recovery information to research is voluntary and separate from your care. Before joining a study, you will be told what data is used, who can access it and what choices you have.

The registry and collaborative studies are in development; research enrollment is not yet open. Learn about the research program ↗
