What your Guide does
Your Guide is introduced to you by name once your practice connects you. They coordinate appointments and follow-ups with your surgeon’s office, carry forward the information you have already shared, arrange your pre-visit report and imaging with your permission, keep track of unresolved questions and connect you with the right person at the practice, and help with transport, accommodation and equipment when needed. They remember your preferences and keep your next step in view.

Information you share through TrueKnee carries forward, with your permission, so you do not fill out the same paperwork twice. Before each visit your Guide confirms the office has received and reviewed it. When you arrive you are brought straight to a patient room; any remaining questions, signatures, insurance details or payments are handled with you there, in private. Participating offices commit to this before your first visit.
What a Guide is not
Medical questions and decisions belong to your surgeon and care team; your Guide never replaces that relationship. A clinical concern goes to your care team promptly, not to your Guide and not to a questionnaire.
