TrueKnee Voyage text messages
Program terms and the consent workflow. Visiting this page does not subscribe anyone to calls or texts.
Program terms
- Who sends them. TrueKnee Voyage, operated by Sherlock Health Inc., from +1 833 878 3563.
- What they are. One-time sign-in codes, reminders about your own care plan and record, and, once you connect your phone to an operation, conversational texts with your named, nonclinical TrueKnee Navigator. No marketing. No clinical advice by text.
- How you opt in. You enter your own mobile number at trueknee.com/signin under the disclosure shown there and confirm it with the code we text. Texting with a Navigator needs a second, explicit step inside your signed-in record, an unchecked checkbox described below. A surgeon’s office may also, with you present and at your request, send one introductory text, described below.
- How often. Message frequency varies with your sign-ins, your care plan and your conversation with your Navigator.
- What it costs. Message and data rates may apply. TrueKnee does not charge for texts.
- How to stop. Reply STOP to end all texts, including sign-in codes. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for help, or write to privacy@sherlockhealth.ai.
- Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy. How we handle your number and messages is in the privacy policy, section “Text messages”, and the terms of service, section 6.
Patients
- Sign in and verify your account phone.
- Open your episode’s Calls & texts section.
- Read the disclosure, check the optional consent box, and select Connect my phone.
Use your verified account phone for this episode. TrueKnee calls and texts will appear in your record and be shared with your authorized Navigators. Standard texts are not encrypted end to end; use your secure portal for detailed medical information. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Consent is optional.
The checkbox starts unchecked. Its label is “I agree to calls and texts for this episode.” Consent is recorded when the patient submits the form. A patient can disconnect the phone in the same section.
In clinic: a practice introduction
A verified TrueKnee surgeon’s office, with the patient present, may enter the mobile number the patient gives and tick an unchecked attestation: “The patient is with me, gave this number, and asked to receive one text from TrueKnee.” One text is then sent with the surgeon’s page and nothing clinical; it carries STOP. Nothing more is sent unless the patient signs in and opts in as described above. Replying STOP ends it.
Message example: “Pat, Charles A. DeCook, MD introduced you to TrueKnee. Find out whether a TrueKnee fits you, free, about 15 minutes, with Charles A. DeCook already chosen: https://trueknee.com/find-a-surgeon/charles-decook Reply STOP to opt out.”
Navigators
After signing in with a verified phone, a Navigator opens Case records and services and selects the optional Navigator notifications checkbox.
I agree to receive TrueKnee text reminders at my verified phone about missing documents for cases currently assigned to me. Reminders begin 14 days after confirmed surgery and repeat weekly until the documents are received. Message frequency varies with my assigned cases. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is optional.
The checkbox starts unchecked unless that Navigator has already opted in for the same phone. Only a currently authorized and assigned Navigator can receive a case reminder. Unchecking it revokes the preference.
